I was just recently notified that I have been selected to participate in the 12th Annual Food Wine and Art Experience in Lake Worth, Florida. This event is sponsored by the American Lung Association of Florida - Southeast Area, in partnership with the Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce. It is scheduled for Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 7:00pm-9:00pm at the Lake Worth Cultural Plaza in downtown Lake Worth, Florida.

I have been very busy painting lately. My latest work "Taos Pueblo" is now up on the site along with several other new pieces such as "Barefoot" and "SaxMan".  I also have several more pieces in the works.

One of my paintings "Loggerhead Trek" is currently on display at The 23rd Annual Juried Open Art Exhibition, a Boca Festival Days event. The info and a link to their website is below. Juried art exhibition, opened to all South Florida artists sponsored by The Artists' Guild of the Boca Raton Museum of Art and Coneca Properties, LLC and Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate SFL at the Courtyard Building. The exhibit is open to the public from July 28 through September 5, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturdays 9:00am to 12:00 noon. The Courtyard Building is located at 5301 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, just north of Yamato Road on the west side of the highway. All proceeds will benefit the Boca Raton Museum of Art. I have just added my latest Acrylic wildlife work "Pleicans", These guys were hanging around the ramp one day when my wife and I went out fishing. You may also notice that I have been adding more works recently. Some are newer, some are older works in provate collections. I am actively attempting to get pictures of all the work I have in collections added to the site, but some of the are easier to come by than others. I will also continue to update the site as I create new works ( I have 3 in progress now).

I attended the second annual "Artavox"cocktail party at FAU's Lifelong Learning Society campus at Abacoa in Jupiter, May 29.  It was a very nice event. There were some installations there by other local artists, a spoken word poet who was very good, and an excellent female musician that sang and played guitar.  I had the opportunity to talk to many patrons and other artists and enjoyed sampling foodd from several local restruants. The drinks and food were free and I enjoyed the event a great deal.

I thought I would add this first entry to start off my blog. I have been seeing increased traffic to my site and I thought a blog would be a nice addition to allow people to contact me and each other about my art. I will be adding new works periodically and when not working on my art or otherwise occupied with life I will add enries and respond to questions. I hope everyone enjoys my art and my blog.
